'New start' of Beijing recorded through lens of foreigners

The award ceremony of photo contest themed “2017 A New Start of Beijing in the Eyes of Foreign Friends” was held on December 14 in Beijing. A total of 50 photographers were awarded certificates and cash prizes.

The photo contest has drawn extensive attentions. A total of 3,015 photos by photographers from 62 countries all over the world had flooded to the mailbox of the contest’s organizing committee. An expert panel of judges selected 50 photos from 42 countries as first, second and third prize works and works of excellence. The prize-winning works depicted the development of Beijing in the new era from the perspective of foreigners.
